FAQ

You may have a lot of questions, and hopefully I can answer them! Here are some common questions people have:

Do you take insurance?

No. However, I do offer a superbill option where you can submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement of part of the session cost.

How much will therapy cost?

The following prices are the out-of-pocket prices for the most common types of sessions:

  • Initial Diagnostic Evaluation (required for all new clients): $300
  • Individual Session: $200
  • Family Session: $300

When is payment due?

Payment is due at the end of each session.

What is a superbill?

This article provides a helpful explanation on what a superbill is: https://www.goodrx.com/insurance/health-insurance/superbill-therapy

How long do sessions take?

Sessions will typically take 45 minutes.

Do you see children?

I will see clients ages 3-100+; however, there may be additional requirements for clients under 18:

  • Parent/guardian consent is required in most cases.
  • If the child’s parents are not married, both parents must sign the consent form unless one parent has sole legal custody. The custody document must be provided.
  • For children under 12, a parent/guardian/caregiver may be required to be present during sessions. The family session rate would apply in this case.
